Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all members and supporters of Banbury Choral Society. We hope 2021 brings peace, health and restoration to everyone and an opportunity to come together again face to face. It has been a long hard slog, but we must hold to the belief that the vaccine will change all that and try to remain positive.

The members of our choir have continued to meet on Zoom for some much needed chat time as well as a chance to sing some of our favourite choral works and carols. A big thank you needs to go to Julian Harris, our conductor and David Palmer (pianist extraordinaire!) for going to great lengths to keep music alive every Monday evening and delivering it with humour and fun.

Thanks also needs to go to Liz Grint, our Chair, who has been unwavering in her commitment to the choir through keeping us informed throughout the term. Her warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit knows no bounds. Thank you also to Sian for the wonderful Choir News emails that have kept everyone updated.

Finally, we couldn’t have met on Zoom without all the committed choir members who have turned up every Monday evening to sing to themselves at home!! Who would have thought it?!! WE WILL SING TOGETHER AGAIN SOON so stick at it and look forward to seeing you again on Zoom.
